Design that represents you

Data Architect is a web design, software, graphic design and digital support company serving local businesses, organizations and community programs. The company was founded by Shayne Brown around a simple idea: technology should look professional, stay understandable and solve a real problem for the people using it.

I was born in Long Beach, California, and moved into the Inland Empire when I was about eight years old. From early on I had a complete fascination with computers — not just using them, but understanding how they worked, how systems connected and how a person could make technology useful instead of frustrating.
That interest naturally pushed me toward computer science, information technology, web development and programming. Over time, that curiosity turned into practical work: building websites, improving user experiences, creating databases, organizing information and shaping browser-based systems that are functional, user-friendly and built with a clear purpose.
I’m a graduate and alumni member of Merit America, where I completed information technology training, and I also hold Google IT Support certification with additional hands-on system administration knowledge. That background helped me grow comfortably into support and system-adjacent roles, where I learned how valuable it is to combine technical skill with patience, communication and follow-through.
As my experience grew, so did the scope of the work. I started thinking beyond individual pages and toward full workflows — how staff update content, how data moves, how listings are managed, how public-facing pages connect to admin tools, and how the software behind a website can save time instead of creating more work. That led me into building larger data-driven interfaces and practical systems for organizations large and small.
The way I like to work is simple: stay down to earth, listen carefully, understand what the business or team actually needs, and then build something clean enough to trust and simple enough to maintain. I’m technical, but I don’t believe in making clients feel buried under technical language. If someone needs a straightforward consultation, feedback on an idea or just a second set of eyes on a workflow, I want that to be easy too.
At the center of it, I care about useful work, clear communication and building things that help real people. Data Architect is the company built around that approach — a place where websites, software, design and support can be handled as parts of one connected business presence.
For a small business or local organization, a website, flyer, event page, admin dashboard and technical support often belong to the same story. Data Architect is designed to connect those pieces instead of treating every need like a separate vendor relationship.

When a workflow needs software, the goal is a clear interface that staff can understand and keep current.
Call, text or start a conversation when you need help, a consultation or a clear answer before committing to a larger build.
